The Sebastian Foundation // Where It All Began

The Sebastian Foundation is an amazing not for profit organisation founded by Jules and Guy Sebastian.  Based on the values of family and community, the foundation provides warmth and support to those who are underprivileged, and in situations of domestic violence and serious illness.

Bohemian Traders have partnered with the Sebastian Foundation to help and support families in need. We are a brand that is built on family values, and we believe it is important to support the families around us. Bohemian Traders champions all women no matter the hardships they may face. It is our mission in conjunction with the Sebastian Foundation to brighten the lives of those who need it most.

About the Sebastian Foundation

Jules and Guy Sebastian

Through many years of interacting with the Australian public, Guy and Jules Sebastian developed the sense that despite having so much to be grateful for, there are so many individuals who still struggle daily.

Guy and Jules both came from strong family backgrounds, this was never more apparent than when they began a family of their own, bringing into the world two beautiful and healthy young boys. It was at this time that their revelation finally hit home and an even stronger recognition for the many people who go through life without the constant love and support they had relished in for years, developed.

It was out of this understanding, and drive to share the positive impact of a strong family unit that the Sebastian Foundation was born. Their mission; to replace a little bit of the warmth and benefit of family where it is missing, whether that be through underpriviledge, serious illness or domestic violence.

The Sebastian Foundation is one of the only organisations operating within Domestic Violence Shelters at such a high level. Although across the board there are substantial amounts of money being raised for the cause – this is hardly ever put to use in a functional and resounding way.  The Sebastian foundation is working with shelters in a practical way, making a functional difference that has an impact at an emotional level for the women seeking refuge.

Girls Who Glow Initiative

Being a reasonably small organisation has given The Sebastian Foundation the opportunity to respond quickly when the needs of a shelter, group or individual arise. They work in conjunction with organisations and charities of all sizes to create a positive impact on the Australian community. The way the Sebastian Foundation is managed and their partnerships ensure they are able to keep their administration costs extremely low, a tiny 7%, and allows the donations generously afforded to the foundation to be spread much further.

With initiatives such as workshops, mentoring programs, and renovations of women’s refuges across Australia, The Sebastian Foundation is an organisation that Bohemian Traders is proud to support.
